at Greenspace this April!
Ballaro Dance has been invited to present several works in this split-bill showcase. Works presented include Vivaldi, a circular duet of sisterhood, and Stairway To Nowhere, a high energy, quirky solo set to the music of David Schanzer. Also featured on this program will be Reflections on Thursday, a new work inspired by the sights and sounds experienced by the dancers in the weeks following the Presidential Election in November. Made in real time, each rehearsal was reflective of the "now" moment:
conversations, observations, happenings in the news. We experience the changing community together, and use it as inspiration for dance making.
